Since these were handcrafted they were a bit delicate and the band of the ring is not perfectly circular- it's been worn, and loved! (see pictures) I am including and sending this ring in a black ring box with black velvet cushion inside. I took this to several jewelers and in order to confirm which karat gold it is they would have to do a scratch test, so I said no thanks! My personal jeweler said it looked to be 14K and from my research on these rings 14K was the lowest karat that were made (these were made in yellow gold and white gold, yellow being the rarer rings). Jeweler Henri David of Philadelphia was commissioned to design a limited edition of these rings as a gift from Ms. This ring belongs on someone's finger, not hidden in a jewelry box! These gorgeous rings featuring a heart with angel wings were presented to Stevie Nicks' background singers, dancers, and staff following the completion of 1983's "Wild Heart" tour. She said it no longer fit and she'd rather see someone else wearing it who would really enjoy it! Well, I did enjoy wearing it and did so daily for 2-3 years until it no longer fit my fingers as well! Since then I've held onto it, safely tucked away in my jewelry box with the hopes of being able to wear it again, but unfortunately due to carpal tunnel I can see that will never be a possibility.
Fleetwood was kind enough to send me home with an armful of gifts, best of all this beautiful ring which Stevie Nicks gave to her at the completion of the 1983 Wild Heart Tour.
